At Aspen there is a way to tell what type of skier you are. It is important in the ski school so you can be grouped with the right people. There is a system set up into 9 different levels. Three of them are green, which will guide you through the basics and get you set to advance to a green blue level which is also a 4 or 5 on the scale. By level six it is determined that you are an intermediate and are pretty comfortable with blue ski terrain. Level 7 is where you push yourself into a black and blue skier beginning to hit the steeps. By 8 and 9 you are developing very well and are just looking for those small minute critiques, that will get you to be really good and love all the terrain.
